The Sound Studios Union Protocol is the official industry agreement that establishes written rules on critical issues such as working conditions, base rates, and rights transfer in the voice-over/dubbing sector in Türkiye.
Sound Studios Union – Protocols and Sectoral Collaborations
Sound Studios Union has signed official protocols with industry stakeholders (especially the Actors’ Union) to institutionalize the voice-over/dubbing sector in Türkiye, standardize working conditions, and establish common regulations among sector actors. These collaborations are regarded as a significant turning point for the industry.
1. Protocol on the Determination of Voice-Over Rules and Base Rates
This Protocol has been mutually executed and signed between the Stage, Screen, Camera and Microphone Actors’ Union, domiciled at Kuloğlu Mh. İstiklal Cd. Erol Dernek Sk. No: 8 Beyoğlu-İSTANBUL (hereinafter referred to as the “Actors’ Union”), and the dubbing studio(s) and other legal entities whose signatures appear below this Protocol (hereinafter referred to as the “Dubbing Studio / Dubbing Studios”).
