Personal Data Protection Disclosure Statement

a. Identity of the Data Controller and its Representative (if any): This disclosure is made under the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK"), in the capacity of Data Controller, by Sound Studios Union, to fulfill its obligation to inform its business partners, shareholders, customers, and real or legal persons with whom it communicates.

b. Purpose of Processing Personal Data: Your personal data may vary depending on the services, products, or commercial activities provided by our association. It may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically, through offices, branches, dealers, call centers, websites, social media platforms, mobile applications, or similar means. Your personal data will be processed as long as you use our products and services and will be updated accordingly.

Additionally, when you use our call center or website to access services, visit our site, or participate in training, seminars, or events organized by us, your personal data may be processed.

The collected personal data will be processed within the framework of Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK for purposes such as:

Carrying out necessary operations by our business units to provide you with products and services,

Customizing the products and services according to your preferences, usage habits, and needs,

Ensuring the legal and commercial security of our association and its partners (including administrative operations, physical security of association locations, evaluation of business partners/customers/suppliers, legal compliance, financial operations, etc.),

Determining and implementing commercial and business strategies,

Managing human resources policies.

c. Recipients and Purposes of Transferred Personal Data: Collected personal data may be shared, within the scope of Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK and for the purposes stated above, with:

Business partners, suppliers, Sound Studios Union, shareholders,

Legally authorized public institutions, and private persons.

d. Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection: Your personal data is collected verbally, in writing, or electronically, for the purposes of providing the products and services in compliance with the law and ensuring the association meets its contractual and legal obligations. This collection is legally based on Articles 5 and 6 of KVKK, and the data may also be processed and transferred for the purposes stated in sections (1) and (2) above.

e. Rights of the Data Subject:
Under KVKK, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

1. To learn whether your personal data is processed,
2. To request information if your personal data has been processed,
3. To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
4 To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, domestically or internationally,
5. To request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
6. To request deletion or destruction of your personal data when the reasons for processing no longer exist,
7. To request notification of third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, if your corrected or deleted information has been shared,
8. To object to results arising against you through analysis of processed data solely via automated systems,
9. To demand compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

As the data subject, your application must include explanations regarding the rights you wish to exercise. Your request must be clear and understandable, related to your personal data, or if acting on behalf of someone else, you must be specifically authorized and able to document your authority. The application must include your identity and address information, along with documents verifying your identity.

Applications submitted within this scope will be processed as quickly as possible, and at the latest within 30 days. Currently, there is no fee for these applications. However, if the process requires additional costs, a fee may be charged according to the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board.
